We create utopian activists.
Learni is a studio working on the semiotics of learning: how spaces, stories and games teach long before anyone speaks.
“Optimistic polymath, lifelong learner, curious about most fields of knowledge, thinking and arts.”
We design learning ecologies so museums, foundations, municipalities and youth collectives can rehearse other ways of living together. The work crosses non‑formal education, democratic citizenship and speculative futures, always starting from concrete bodies in specific places.
What you can commission without losing your soul.
We don’t “deliver workshops”; we co‑design semiotic systems: spaces, programmes and tools where young people and communities can read themselves differently – and act from there.
When theory met muddy shoes and fluorescent lights.
Selected situations where learning design, democratic education and futures work had to happen in real rooms: school gyms, youth centres, ministries, train wagons – with all the contradictions present.
GROW programme across 7 state campuses, 1,000+ students. Minimum wage reframed as a question of who is legible as “worth a life” in law. Result: a 270% increase of minimum wage in Kansas.
Co‑designed Master curricula in Lifelong Learning and a Youth Work certificate for 50 national experts: making youth work visible as a profession, not an afterthought.
International mobility as a language of recognition for young people labelled “at risk”. 150k €/year fundraised and 1,000+ youth empowered through programmes.
European Citizens’ Initiative reframing severe environmental destruction as ecocide, not a side effect: 820,000 supporters and 250 activists trained in the semiotics of legal language and public campaigning.
Games, frameworks and texts as sign systems.
A selection of games, frameworks and open resources that turn democratic culture, rights and ecosocial transitions into languages that can be learned, hacked and shared.
If you want infrastructure, not a one‑off workshop.
We are especially interested in collaborations that leave behind new institutions, not just new slides: spaces, routines and languages that keep teaching when the project ends.
- ▸ You want a programme, lab or residency that doesn’t feel like “just another call”.
- ▸ You care about democratic citizenship, ecosocial transitions and youth agency in practice.
- ▸ You’re willing to experiment with spaces, games, fiction and new forms of governance.

Let’s start with a short conversation to listen, map the codes already at work in your context and sketch what a first collaborative prototype could look like – before any deck appears.
